I have always heard that elephants are really smart animals, so I did what most people do when they want to find information. I googled it. Turns out elephants are number 7 on the list of the 10 smartest animals on the planet. I must admit that I had a hard time accepting the fact that researchers say that rats and pigs are smarter than elephants.
When I take a good look at creation I can see the hand of God in everything. I love the fact that His creation speaks of His Glory, and how His creation speaks to us. Birds tell us when a storm is coming, when it’s time to get up, and when it’s time to wash our cars.
Since I don’t see elephants everyday, I was surprised how much a group of elephants can teach us about youth culture and behavior. The very powerful lesson you will learn from these elephants could have been cut from news feeds of today from all over the world or from the pages of the Bible!
Elephants can’t write, but they can tell a very powerful story. Please watch this 3-minute segment from the news program 60 Minutes on teenage elephants. It will be worth every second! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-B5W4lq_LmU
HAMSIGHT: The next time you see an elephant in your neighborhood please thank them for this lesson on what teenagers need to grow.
